Welcome to Birch Class!
Our Reception children are taught in Birch Class by Mrs Petherick (Monday - Wednesday morning) and
Mrs Dodge (Wednesday morning - Friday). They are supported by Mrs Yendell.
Mrs Petherick
I have been teaching for 23 years and joined Morchard Bishop C of E Primary school in January 2002, having taught in a couple of local schools prior to coming to Morchard Bishop. I completed my Teacher Training at Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education and have taught from Reception to Year 3. I teach part time at Morchard on Mondays, Tuesdays and a Wednesday morning.
Outside of school my family keep me busy!
Mrs Dodge
I have been teaching at Morchard Bishop C of E Primary School since 2010. Before becoming a teacher, I was a Teaching Assistant at a local primary school for two years. I undertook my teacher training at St Luke's College at Exeter University.
Outside of school I enjoy watching my sons playing rugby for Crediton, I try to make to most of living in beautiful Devon by going for long walks on Dartmoor and paddleboarding when the sea is calm.
